Distributed Vision System for Real World Agents

چکیده

This paper proposes a Distributed Vision System as an approach to solve attention control problems of autonomous robots and to realize robust information processing in a complex real world. The distributed vision system consisting of vision agents connected with a computer network supports visual behaviors of humans and robots by organizing communication of the vision agents. In addition to the conceptual discussion, this paper shows a simple application for navigating a mobile robot.
